Lyricality

My goodness, an actual update. Hopefully everyone had a wonderful and satisfying holiday. My Christmas was hectic but otherwise good. Back to work today, however, and hating it passionately, along with hating to be a responsible adult (quote, unquote). I think I needed more sleep.

The best part of my entire weekend, naturally, was finally seeing Finding Neverland yesterday. I won't bore anyone with gushing or descriptions or other nonsense, because most likely everyone I know has already seen it, but suffice to say...wonderful and inspirational. I did not, however, get my Christmas wish--which was either waking up Christmas morning and BEING Johnny Depp, or waking up and magically having my own reindeer. Yeah. Secretly I'm five. Blitzen is my favorite. <3

I also saw Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events, which once again, everyone else has probably seen. Amusing and inspirational in all sorts of naughty ways, really. I am under no illusions that doing a Lemony Snicket/Wonka crossover is not A Very Bad Idea, but I can't quite help thinking about it nevertheless. Of course, I've always thought a Harry Potter/Wonka crossover/AU had some merit as an idea, too, but I always assumed that Dahl had been one of Rowling's heavy influences from the first.

In closing... Drea, gimme your new IM name. GIMME GIMME GIMME.
