"Rational" and "Feelings" rarely get along I find :P Love and relationships are insane sometimes... rationality plays a small role, like that guy in the back meekly waving his hand. "Hey... hey guys? Can we talk this out?" XD
I think we all have a part of ourself that is somewhat manipulative or calculating, and I don't think it's as bad as you are making it out to be.
