Ugh, work is trying to call me in. Please, please, someone tell me that I should not feel guilty for not wanting to work on my day off. I am not responsible for other people calling in. *repeats like mantra* It's so stupid of me, seriously. I feel like I'm goofing off or something, when I just really need today to work on my contract job, and it isn't as if I was even scheduled. I am so very lame.
Besides, if I DID close today, I would be closing six days in a row, which is just NOT ON, thanks.
I miss everyone. Especially all you TR people that I used to talk to all the time. My schedule means I close at least five times a week, so I'm never on in the evenings, ugh.
This is a totally whiny post. =P At least I have other good news, which is that I won third place in a local writing contest earlier this month. The prize is a whole $30, which is the first time I've ever been paid for anything I've written, hee. I suppose I really shouldn't need that sort of justification to know that I can actually write, but it still feels pretty good. ^_^
